Mike started his career in the insurance world for few years before joining the financial services sector back in 2015. For the last 8 years, he has been working on internal policies and procedures as well as compliance and AML/KYC solutions for our clients. He has also some responsibilities as IT manager for the group as well as data protection officer.

Mike holds a Master of European Law from Nancy University (France), he has been ACAMs member since 2019 and ALCO member since 2014.

is Chief Executive Officer & Conducting Officer of Engelwood Asset Management, our CSSF authorised AIFM in Luxembourg, and board member of Engelwood Fund and Corporate Services, our CSSF supervised PSF.

Jean Pierre started his career in the banking industry, as Deputy Director at Société Européenne de Banque S.A. Luxembourg – Gruppo Banca Intesa, with a strong track record in the alternative funds industry and transaction management (deals origination, acquisition, restructuring, debt raising, financial engineering and fund administration).

He has been then more than ten years Managing Director and Partner at the European private equity funds advisor J. Hirsch & Co, where he managed over EUR 1 billion in assets.

As from end of 2013, he led the creation of Engelwood in Luxembourg, bringing the company from 3 to over 70 employees today, serving a large number of Luxembourgish regulated investment funds and non-regulated alternative investment funds with special focus on real estate & infrastructure, private equity and debt strategies.

Jean Pierre holds degrees from the Business School of Liège, The Belgian Institute of Accountants and Chartered Accountants, Harvard Business School, and INSEAD.

He is also board member and RR of Engelwood Fund and Corporate Services, our CSSF supervised PSF, and is a CSSF, CBI & CIMA accredited director.

Steven started his career as a corporate lawyer in a magic circle law firm before joining financial services sector. He then specialized in setting-up and managing regulated entities such as management companies and service providers for large alternative investment fund groups in Luxembourg, acting as Head of the Legal & Compliance departments & MLRO, and as of 2019 as Conducting Officer.

Steven holds a Master of Laws from Maastricht University, the Netherlands and a LL.M. in International Business Law from McGill University, Montréal, Canada.
He has been an ILA certified director since 2016, he is a member of several ALCO, ALFI & ILA working groups in the field of alternative investments, AML & legal matters.
As of 2021, he is also advisor to ALCO’s Board of Directors.

Steven is fluent in eight languages: French, English, German, Dutch, Luxembourgish, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.

is member of our Executive Committee, responsible for the development and the management of Direct tax, Indirect tax and Transfer Pricing practices, together with newer regulatory requirements such as DAC6 and ATAD.

Donatien began his career in Belgium in a major commercial company, working on accounting and tax matters. After 5 years, he came in Luxembourg to work in financial services companies on tax matters for multinationals. For the last 15+ years, he is implicated in corporate taxation and regulatory compliance including accounting tax, litigation, and advice on current business issues.

Donatien earned his Master of tax from Liège University (Belgium).

Jean began his career in 2009 in France as Corporate and Tax lawyer. For the last 10+ years, he has been working in Luxembourg in financial services companies managing legal and corporate aspects, working in small businesses as well as large groups. He is particularly implicated in the development of alternative funds activity.

Jean holds a Master of European Business Law from Nancy University (France).

Marc began his career in Luxembourg in fund services activities in a bank. He then joined the Middle Office of our actual AIFM company (called differently at that time), 20 years ago. He has been implicated on fund administration, risk & valuation, as well as middle office management. After that, Marc made a new career choice and joined Engelwood Fund and Corporate Services as responsible of Corporate & Fund accounting.

Marc earned his Licence in Accounting & Tax from Institut Sainte-Marie de Liège (Belgium).

serves as Conducting Officer and is a member of the Executive Committee at Engelwood Asset Management, a CSSF authorized AIFM based in Luxembourg.

Joining Engelwood Asset Management initially as a Risk & Valuation Officer in October 2017, Alex rapidly ascended the ranks, achieving the position of Manager of the Risk & Valuation department by August 2019. His expertise encompasses financial markets, financial analysis, portfolio management, investment strategies, quantitative analysis, risk models, and valuation. Recognizing his capabilities, Alex was promoted to the role of Conducting officer in July 2023. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing key functions such as Risk Management, Valuation, and Fund Administration Oversight.

Alex earned a dual master’s degree in market finance from ICN Business School and wealth and real estate management from Kedge Business School.

Christine began her career in Paris as Private Equity Transactions Lawyer. She then came in Luxembourg and worked 10 years as Corporate & Investment funds lawyer with both human-sized and major law firms. For the last 6 years, she has been working in financial services companies in Luxembourg as head of legal, advising funds and Luxembourgish entities on corporate and legal services.

Christine earned her Master of commercial law in Paris (France), completed with a LL.M. from University of Edinburg (Scotland). She is also admitted to the Paris Bar since 2006 and to the Luxembourg Bar (list1).
