Engelwood Fund & Corporate Services S.A. is an independent financial and corporate services provider, based in Luxembourg, with headquarters located in Luxembourg city and part of the Engelwood network, built up around the One Stop Shop concept, providing tailored solutions with high level of expertise. The company is a Professional of the Financial Sector regulated by the Luxembourg supervisory authorities (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier – CSSF) and provides incorporation, domiciliation, transfer agency and central administration services to regulated (and unregulated) investment vehicles, with a primary focus on private equity, real estate and private debt structures.
Due to the increase in current and future business, we are currently looking for a Transfer Agent – Senior Officer to join our company.
Key responsibilities:
- Management of transactions: Subscriptions/redemptions/distributions/commitments/capital calls/transfers/switches
- Creation of investors’ accounts
- Understanding/coordination of AML/KYC requirements
- Targeted vehicles: Funds (PE/RE)
- Acting as point of contact for the investors
- Prepare/review various documents in relation with the transactions: contract notes, agreements linked to investors’ transactions, notices, checklists, holding statements…
- Analyze Prospectuses, Terms and Conditions, data files received from Custodian, investments flow from top to down
- Answer emails/queries from investors and internal departments in a timely and accurate
- Support the Senior Manager in the maintenance of department procedures
- Escalating issues to the Senior Manager and propose solutions where possible
- Understanding of operational workflow
- Maintenance of registers and systems
- Training of/Assistance to Junior Officers
- Coordination with internal departments: accounting, administration, legal, compliance…
- Coordination with third parties: clients, advisors, investors, auditors, intermediaries, banks…
- Reporting to investor and third parties (AIFM, Custodian banks…): investors confirmation, NAV…
Minimum profile requirements:
- Master’s degree in management, Finance or Business Administration,
- First successful experience in funds in Luxembourg is an advantageous asset,
- Excellent verbal and writing skills in French and English. Any other language will be considered as advantageous,
- Hands-on, flexible, eager-to-learn attitude,
- Ability (or willingness) to work independently but also as part of a team,
- Willingness to keep on learning and growing while managing day to day,
- Appetite for excellence whilst delivering work for our clients.
Additional advantageous profile requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in the fund industry in Luxembourg; a deep understanding of the local market is a strong asset.
