Engelwood Asset Management S.A. is active in fund structuring, asset management and asset services. The company was founded in July 2001 and was renamed Engelwood Asset Management S.A. in July 2019.
Engelwood Asset Management S.A. is a CSSF regulated third party AIFM (European Alternative Investment Fund Manager) in Luxembourg.
Due to the increase in current and future business, we are currently looking for an Compliance Officer to join our company.
Key responsibilities:
- Assistance with the collection of data used for the preparation of regulatory filings for the AIFM;
- Assistance in the preparation of compliance reports for the Conducting Officers and the Board;
- Assistance in the preparation of documentation for the monthly meetings of the Conducting Officers;
- Assistance with the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan, mainly through sample testing of processes within the AIFM’s departments;
- Assistance with initial and ongoing due diligence requests from the AIFM’s counterparties and delegates;
- Preparation of AML packages for external counterparties and delegates;
- Assistance in the preparation of documentation for audit exercises (both internal and external);
- Maintenance of the administrative aspects of the Funds (both physical and electronic filings), ensuring they are up to date and in good standing, and liaising with supervisory authorities where necessary.
Minimum profile requirements:
- Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in Compliance within an AIFM, ManCo or fund environment in Luxembourg
- Good knowledge of Luxembourg regulatory framework (AIFM Law, AML/CFT requirements, CSSF regulations)
- Exposure to regulatory reporting and compliance monitoring activities
- Understanding of due diligence processes and AML documentation
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (any additional language is considered an asset)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders
- Organized, rigorous and proactive mindset
