Engelwood Fund & Corporate Services S.A. is an independent financial and corporate services provider, based in Luxembourg, with headquarters located in Luxembourg city and part of the Engelwood network, built up around the One Stop Shop concept, providing tailored solutions with high level of expertise. The company is a Professional of the Financial Sector regulated by the Luxembourg supervisory authorities (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier – CSSF) and provides incorporation, domiciliation, transfer agency and central administration services to regulated (and unregulated) investment vehicles, with a primary focus on private equity, real estate and private debt structures.

Due to the increase in current and future business, we are currently looking for a SPV Accounting – Senior Officer to join our company.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the production, review and validation of accounting deliverables for a complex portfolio of SPV structures (Soparfi, securitisations, HoldCo, FinancingCo) under LUX GAAP.
• Ensure compliance of all deliverables with applicable accounting and legal frameworks; identify and resolve exceptions with a high degree of autonomy.
• Perform and validate complex accounting entries for financial fixed assets, securities, intercompany transactions and structured instruments.
• Review and approve management accounts, financial statements, investor reports and ad hoc reports for the assigned portfolio.
• Manage the full audit cycle: plan, coordinate, produce audit files and act as the principal liaison with auditors for assigned entities.
• Manage direct and indirect tax filings (VAT, CIT, NWT) and regulatory reporting (CSSF, BCL) for assigned entities, handling complex situations and escalating where appropriate.
• Coordinate proactively with internal and external stakeholders including Asset Managers, Trustees/Depositaries and legal advisors.
• Mentor and guide Officers and Junior Officers, providing technical support and contributing to their professional development.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to enhancements of controls and quality of deliverables.

Minimum profile requirements:

• Deep technical knowledge of LUX GAAP for corporate and securitisation structures; Fair Value Option and IFRS are strong assets.
• Advanced expertise in SPV accounting (Soparfi, securitisation vehicles, structured finance).
• Sound understanding of direct and indirect taxation in Luxembourg (VAT, CIT, NWT).
• In depth knowledge of financial instruments including intercompany structures, bonds, equities and derivatives.
• Advanced command of accounting systems and Excel.
• Ability to mentor junior colleagues and transfer knowledge effectively; proactive communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex files; high sense of responsibility and commitment to quality.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or equivalent.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in SPV/corporate accounting in Luxembourg.
• Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, DECS) is an asset.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); any additional language is an asset.
