Engelwood Fund & Corporate Services S.A. is an independent financial and corporate services provider, based in Luxembourg,
with headquarters located in Luxembourg city and part of the Engelwood network, built up around the One Stop Shop concept,
providing tailored solutions with high level of expertise. The company is a Professional of the Financial Sector regulated by the
Luxembourg supervisory authorities (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier – CSSF) and provides incorporation,
domiciliation, transfer agency and central administration services to regulated (and unregulated) investment vehicles, with a
primary focus on private equity, real estate and private debt structures.
We are currently looking for a Junior Associate within the Transactions, Asset Servicing & Reporting to join our company.
Key responsibilities:
- Assistance to operations within the Transactions, Asset Servicing & Reporting department
- Ability to learn a new software and document it
- Production of financial reports (periodic and non-periodic) in the context of evaluation mandates and follow-up of
customer requests as designated by the employer - Assistance in modelling, monitoring, and managing deadlines and obligations relating to financial instruments (debt
administration) of the client portfolio of the employer - Reconciliation of movements, review of budgets, monitoring of financial flows (entries and exits) from the employer’s
client portfolio - Support to department operations as part of the follow-up and support of transactions in the employer’s client
portfolios - Data management, collection and analysis of relevant key indicators and figures through a specialized software for
monitoring private equity investments - Encoding of data regarding financial flows (commitments, capital call, distributions, etc.), balance sheets (capital
accounts, net assets) and portfolios (schedule of investments) - In-depth analysis and validation of the internal consistency of financial data, quarterly closings and reconciliation with
accounting - Data input, follow-up and analysis of the financial flows related to the investment
- Preparation of supporting documents for the review of the portfolio and quarterly reports
- Provide key data and information to other teams
- Working proactively on the on-going improvement of financial monitoring tools
- Liaise with third parties (investment managers and clients)
- Be part of ad hoc operational and financial projects
- Provide weekly and monthly regular reporting in line with the internal specifications on the sales activity of the funds
Minimum profile requirements:
- Minimum 1/2 years of experience in a similar position (financial audit or accounting with financial analysis, reporting)
- Master’s degree in finance or economics with a good understanding of accounting principles
- Strong business ethic and a distinctive passion in servicing clients
- Excel and Word knowledge (macros and VBA knowledge being advantages)
- Setting up a new IT tool, documenting process and training colleagues would be an asset
- Drive and commitment to excellence
- High level of communication skills
- Excellent at planning and organising oneself accordingly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a multicultural team environment
- Rigorous, precise, curious, ability to work in a small team
- Fluency in English is mandatory (written and spoken), a good command of French is a distinct advantage and Spanish and Italian being a plus
